Nigel Gough Associates Ltd was established in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter on 1st May 2014, as a firm of independent Town Planning and Development Consultants.
We provide a range of professional Town Planning and Development / Agency Consultancy services to landowners, promoters, investors and developers comprising specifically strategic residential land, C2 Institutions (Care Homes / Care Villages etc), as well as industrial, distribution and commercial property proposals.
Originally employed by Edwards Son & Bigwood in 1973 and more latterly CPBigwood Ltd, Nigel and Gill continue to advise on medium to long term strategic development sites through the Local Plan system. In addition we provide supportive Planning Consultancy advice. Many of our Clients have been connected with us since the 1980s on specific development projects.
We have formed four very close working relationships recently. Firstly with Concept Town Planning Ltd of Ellesmere in Shropshire, where there is a very special synergy between the two firms who have complementary skills and at Concept an acknowledged Development Control / Management base. We have a very close working relationship with Graham Carter FRICS IRRV (Hons), Chartered Valuation Surveyor and Auctioneer who advises us and our Clients on Land Agency matters principally. Through his firm, Carters Surveyors, which includes Adroit Asset Management, these links help us to broaden the services we can offer to our Clients.
